The Riesling Trail into the township of Auburn is now complete thanks to to work of the Riesling Trail Management Committee!

Congratulations to the Riesling Trail Management Committee for the completion of the Riesling Trail into the township of Auburn. It has been four years of hard work and community involvement to deliver this significant project.

Exciting moment for both the local residents and the committee to celebrate the opening on 19 November 2019.

The dream has come true for the committee and the community, the trail now traverses the disused rail corridor over the Wakefield River and into Auburn.  The Riesling and Rattler Trails are now connected along the former Clare to Riverton railway line at Auburn.

Over 75,000 experience the trail and its tourism opportunities annually, this extension will enrich future adventures to the Clare and Gilbert Valleys.
