SA is building a new $92 million sporting complex

The Mile End Sports Precinct has been transformed into one of Australia’s premier high-performance sports, research and education precincts through $107 million of investment. State Government has budgeted a further $92 million to redevelop the netball stadium on the southern side of the precinct.

The project will be staged to deliver a redevelopment of the outdoor community netball courts, and a new indoor sports stadium. The facility will provide South Australian netballers a more enjoyable training and game day experience.

The revitalised, flexible indoor complex with a 3,000-seat show court will help to attract even more national-level sporting events to South Australia. The redevelopment will mean the stadium will become a multi-sport facility, allowing other indoor sports like volleyball to use the new complex.
