Congratulations to the hardworking volunteers in the local sporting clubs and organisations who worked so hard on their funding applications and who, in many cases, tirelessly fundraised to support improvements at their clubs.

Sporting clubs are often at the heart of communities across South Australia, playing a crucial role in improving the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of South Australians, and often giving people a really important sense of belonging.

This funding is about improving facilities for the future and helping clubs to be more inclusive and accessible for current and new participants. I am really proud that this funding will support the efforts of clubs as they go about supporting and including people in their communities through sport and recreation.
