The Department of the Premier and Cabinet is proud to have successfully gained reaccreditation as a White Ribbon Australia workplace.

By participating in the White Ribbon Australia Workplace Accreditation Program, facilitated by community service organisation Communicare, the department has shown a whole of organisation commitment to address issues of gendered violence and sexual harassment against women.

To achieve accreditation, the department successfully met 15 criteria under three standards to create a safer and more respectful workplace. We are now recognised as a workplace that is taking active steps to stop violence against women.

White Ribbon Australia representative Gillian Lewis presented a certificate of accreditation to Deputy Chief Executive and Chair of our Gender Equality and Respect Working Group, Jon Gorvett, in recognition of achieving this milestone on Tuesday.

The Department of the Premier and Cabinet is committed to promoting a culture of zero tolerance for violence and to providing a safe and respectful place in which women can excel as professional public sector employees. For more information about our commitment, see White Ribbon accreditation.
