The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing has formed a team to support a coordinated response for sport and recreation clubs and organisations affected by the recent bushfires in South Australia.
The Office is liaising with the Local Recovery Coordinators of the bushfire affected regions regarding those clubs and organisations most affected to provide a coordinated and timely response. Visits will be coordinated under the advice of the Local Recovery Coordinators, as some local communities have been overwhelmed.
The Office is working closely with stakeholders including Sport SA, Recreation SA, local government and state sport organisations in coordinating assistance to those clubs and organisations affected by identifying what support may be required.

Immediate assistance is available to sporting clubs and organisations affected by the bushfires through Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing Recovery Grants of up to $10,000.
