South Australia has locked in more professional golf, with PGA, WPGA, elite amateurs and All Abilities golfers set to tee off in the McLaren Vale wine region in the 2023-24 season.

In a big win for South Australia, the Willunga Golf Club will play host to the TPS South Australia Tournament from October 19-22, the first event of the 2023-24 Webex Players Series, in what will be South Australia’s first WPGA Tour of Australasia event since 2020 and the first PGA Tour of Australasia tournament in more than 16 years.

The series, which began in the 2020-21 season, provides the unique opportunity for male and female professionals, elite amateurs, and All Abilities golfers to tee off on the same course at the same time.

Across the weekend, 16 juniors will also line up for their own 36-hole tournament playing alongside the professionals.

The inclusive event will take place in one of SA’s premier tourist regions, with travelling fans having the option to explore the premium food and wine the McLaren Vale region has to offer.

The four courses featured in this year’s Webex Players Series were Rosebud, Cobram Barooga, Bonnie Doon and Oaks Cypress Lakes.

The tournament will be televised on Foxtel/Kayo.
