The Office for Recreation and Sport (ORS) operates the State Coaching and Officiating Centre which supports State Sporting Organisations to develop their coaches and officials, through training and courses, networks and programs and other professional development opportunities.

Coaching and Officiating Directors/Managers/Development Officers from State Sport or Recreation Organisations are invited to join the State Coaching and Officiating Network (SCON).
Members are welcome to attend the 3 network meetings each year to gain insights from key industry speakers, to engage with the programs and projects offered by the Office for Recreation and Sport, to share initiatives and successes in their sport and to have an opportunity to network with their counterparts from other sports.
Members will also receive regular updates with relevant industry news.
