Thousands of netballers can now enjoy high-quality facilities following the completion of extensive works on Josie Agius Park / Wikaparntu Wirra (Park 22) netball courts.
The Women’s Memorial Playing Fields (WMPF) in St Mary’s will undergo a $9 million upgrade including new clubrooms, women’s change rooms, synthetic hockey and lacrosse, soccer and training fields.
Sporting clubs and organisations around South Australia will share in more than $10 million to build artificial playing surfaces and upgrade female change-room facilities.
The State Government will provide a $10 million loan to Playford Council to help fund construction of the $40 million Playford Ice Arena.
