Congratulations to the women aspiring to be the next generation of senior sport administrators in South Australia
Congratulations to the eight inspiring women who have completed the 2016 Developing Women Sports Leaders Program. From eight sport and recreation organisations these women seek to be the next generation of senior sport administrators.
Through the program they have learned from each other, undertaken a 360 degree feedback process, participated in individual and group coaching sessions and delivered a workplace project that corresponds to their individual interests and aspirations, and aligned with the needs of their organisation.
“The Developing Women Sport Leaders Program helped Katrina to move away from being operational into a more strategic space, and has given her the confidence and direction with pursuing the next steps in her career development.” Andrew Ellis CEO Hockey SA
This year’s participants have found the program highly beneficial to their career advancement, leadership capacities, and personal and professional well-being. In the words of a past participant the program “put me in the position where I am best placed, and gave me the confidence and guidance to not only survive, but thrive”.
Applications for the 2017 program will open in October 2016.
