SASI BMX athletes on winning streak

Sam wins

SASI BMX athletes Sam Willoughby and Anthony Dean are making a habit of posting impressive results. Within the past two months, the two have claimed both world cup and national medals.

Sam took out the title in the men's elite event at the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in Papendal, Netherlands in May.

Anthony missed a medal but finished a respectable fourth. At the 2014 Supercross World Cup held in Manchester a month earlier, the 23-year-old claimed silver.

Back on home soil, the two dominated on the podium at the 2014 Subaru BMX National Championships in Shepparton, Victoria in April. Sam won the National Series Oceania Men's Elite event, just edging out Anthony, and the pair repeated their gold and silver finishes in the National Championship Men’s Elite race the next day.

Sam's winning style can be seen in a documentary series on Vimeo called NINET1, produced by Videographer Corrine Walder.

Both Sam and Dean are based in San Diego, California.
