Sport plays an important role in the community.

Confidence in the integrity of sport must be maintained to ensure the recognised health, wellbeing, safety and social benefits continue to be enjoyed by the public.

The 2018 Report of the Review of Australia’s Sports Integrity Arrangement (Wood Review) examined threats to the integrity of sport. The Wood Review made 52 recommendations across five key areas:

  • Match-fixing
  • Sports wagering
  • Anti-doping
  • Development of a National Sports Tribunal
  • Development of a National Sports Integrity Commission

As a result of the Wood Review, Sport Integrity Australia was formed, bringing together and combining the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority, the National Integrity of Sport Unit and the integrity functions within Sport Australia.

If you have an integrity concern or wish to report an issue, contact Sport Integrity Australia.
