The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing has released for public consultation a draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP).
We invite people with disability, their carers, family, organisations and other interested parties to provide feedback by 27 October 2020.
The Agency is happy to facilitate the provision of submissions using alternative methods suitable to those who wish to contribute. Please contact ORSR.Enquiries@sa.gov.au if you would like to discuss alternative avenues of consultation.
We would like your feedback on the DAIP and welcome feedback from groups and individuals.
Your feedback will be used to develop the final version of our DAIP, which will be published on the Agency’s website by the end of October 2020.
We have different ways that you can provide your feedback.
The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing is committed to ensuring our services are accessible and inclusive for all South Australians. The COVID-19 pandemic has limited the ways we can consult with the community.
We encourage you to share this with your friends, family and other networks.
We acknowledge and respect Aboriginal peoples as South Australia's first peoples and nations, we recognise Aboriginal peoples as traditional owners and occupants of land and waters in South Australia and that their spiritual, social, cultural and economic practices come from their traditional lands and waters; and they maintain their cultural and heritage beliefs, languages and laws which are of ongoing importance; We pay our respects to their ancestors and to their Elders.
